With a mature male and 2x female practitioners remaining at the practice, the goodwill of the business will remain there if the buyer is happy to keep these established practitioners working at the clinic. With the 3x part time GPs working Mon to Fri it is equivalent to 1.6 FTE GPs. There is another P/T GP looking to join the team and provide another 2x sessions er week, this is yet to be confirmed. The GP roster is currently as follows:

Mon – 5x sessions covered
Tues – 1x session
Wed – 3x sessions
Thurs – 3x sessions
Fri – 4x sessions

This clinic is in a high socio-economic suburb, whereby the median household income is more than twice the national medium; so well-to-do patients attend via bookings in lovely tree-lined street. The practice is AGPAL accredited so eligible for PIPS, SIPS, and PNIP payments from the government. There is another 1x 2 year lease which can be assigned or a new, long term lease created. The annual rent review is CPI and the previous short options were at the insistence of the current owner and not a reflection on what the new owner could negotiate with the landlord.
